Featuring Masozi (mentioning Messiah and any/all Blackwood warriors) Spring, Year 779 of the New Age Blackwood, Widow's Hollow ~ The hollow bore the beauty of a new year. Though a patchwork of snow still covered the meadow, more and more of the bright green grasses that hid beneath were revealed each day. Where the ice melted snowdrops and crocus erupted—gifts from the Goddess in return for the herd’s faith and hardiness through another Blackwood winter. The valley was a dreamscape, teeming with life. This was the birthing season. Blackwood was seeing an abundance of newborns this year. To the General, this was a joyous sight. It signified that Blackwood’s force in numbers, which historically had been lacking, would be sustained. It also meant that there would continue to be new warrior prospects in future years.
